Hi! I'm Cindy! I moved abroad when I was 2. I grew up in Canada and Israel. I enjoy traveling (just came back from a 30-day Europe cruise) and love outdoor activities (especially surfing and skateboarding!). I also volunteer for free walking tours in Taipei, sharing Taiwan's culture with backpackers and tourists. I love to interact with people, and with 5 years of teaching children, I believe I can help you learn English in a fun way!

 

I'm very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. I have taught students from elementary school and junior high school. I have assisted students with reading comprehension, combining storytelling and grammar lessons, while improving daily conversional skills through lessons taught all in English. I can create a set a lessons to fit your needs, or help you with assignments you wish to complete.

 

In addition, I have attended summer camps to assist kids in self-esteem building, efficient reading techniques, and strive for success. Also, worked at Pu Tai Elementary School for their summer program. I worked as the communicator between the foreign teachers and the students. Students especially showed improvement in their speaking skills.

✦✧Business English: Graduated from National Taiwan University, majoring in International Business. With 3 years of working in an international company, I can help you with email writing, presentation skills, meeting discussions, telephone calls, etc. 

✧✦English Interview: Other than helping with student's grammar, I assist students to structure their answers to become convincing and show employers that you are the best fit for the job! 

✦✧TOEFL exam: Have taken the exam with a score of 109. I can help students to become familiar with the exam, especially on your speaking skills.

✦✧IETS exam: Give students lots of practice questions and provide feedback for writing and speaking.
