The pasta was absolutely/really delicious.
The soup is so/really flavorful with these fresh herbs. (contains a lot of flavors)
This chocolate cake is really/so yummy. (really, really good!)
My grandma makes such/really mouth-watering cookies. (I'm about to drool over these cookies!)
The fried chicken here is crispy (on the outside) and juicy (on the inside). (contains lots of juice and liquid)

How to use in a sentence?
That baked potato is tasteless with no seasoning. (has no taste; need some salt/pepper)
The steak was overcooked, but not inedible. (the steak is not perfect, but I can still eat it)
This bread is quite stale. (This bread is not fresh. It is hard and dry)
This chicken is nasty(=disgusting). It is still raw. (No one can eat this chicken)
The sausage is rancid. What's it made with? (The sausage smells bad. Used to describe food containing oil)
The noodles are unpalatable. It was under-cooked and some were stuck together. (The noodles are not ready to eat yet. It still needs to be cooked for a while.)
