Taiwan is a tropical island with lots of delicious fruits to eat. There are so many types of fruits that you must taste: mangos, guavas, pineapples, but there's so much more!

How can I describe these Taiwanese fruits?
Custard apples:
Describe the appearance (what it looks like): large green bumps on the outside with a creamy white flesh surrounding large shiny black seeds
Describe the taste of the fruit: Custard apples are fragrant and sweet. It tastes like custard.
Pitaya:
Cactus fruit: cactus are grown in the desert, with sharp spines and thick stems for storing water
Exotic fruit: means foreign or unusual in an interesting way
Mango:
Describe the appearance (what it looks like): Orange flesh with green, red, or orange skin and a large seed inside

How to eat a mango: cut and dice the mango (make horizontal & vertical lines on the surface)
Avocado:
Type of fruit: stone fruit (don't know what this is? Let's talk about fruits in class!)
Describe the taste of the fruit: Avocado has a buttery and creamy texture.
Avocados contain healthy fat and can replace butter when baking
Wax apple:
Describe the taste of the fruit: Wax apples are juicy and crisp.
