[Topic] What is your diet?

What is your diet? Diet means the kinds of food that eats. But when you are dieting or on a diet, it means you are restricting the amount and/or type of food you eat in order to lose weight.

I personally love intermediate fasting intermediate fasting. It is said to reduce cancer risk and slow aging (I guess I'm proof of that XD)

Find your diet: Take the quiz

  • Mediterranean Diet: most popular in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, this diet is inspired by the dietary habits of the Mediterranean. It promotes the consumption of fresh, non-processed foods including vegetables, olive oil, fish, and chicken

  • Juice Cleanse: a fad diet in which a person consumes only fruit and vegetable juices while abstaining from solid food consumption. It is used for detoxification

  • Weight Watchers: based on calorie and portion control while eating regular food

  • Paleo Diet: includes lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds — foods that in the past could be obtained by hunting and gathering

Also popular diets:

  • 5:2 Diet (a type of intermediate fasting): most popular in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Sweden, and consists of two days following a restricted calorie fast (no-eating) and five days of normal eating

  • 16/8 Diet: involves fasting every day for 14~16 hours and restricting your daily eating window to 8~10 hours. Within the eating window, you can fit in two, three, or more meals

  • Keto Diet: a very low-carb, high-fat diet. You eat fewer carbs and replace it with fat and it's similar in many ways to other low-carb diets.

  • Vegan Diet: contains only plants (such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits) and foods made from plants. Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs.
